John is mentioned that his diet consisted in eating locus and honey. Anyone reading this probably never paid much attention to it. However, the reason why Mark wants the audience to know John’s unique diet was to apply his complete devotion to God. John wanted his life to be completely focused to doing God’s will. John understood that his whole purpose in life was to magnify God and prepare others to know Him. Often, we get distracted from this purpose but God is inviting us to be dedicated to the mission He has given all of us. Come and listen to how God wants to help you know your purpose and stay focused to accomplish it. Scripture: Mark 1:4-6
