Adventists - In Step for Life

CELEBRATIONS is a comprehensive wellness program that can empower you to experience optimal health and share it with others. It’s based on the acronym CELEBRATIONS, which outlines 12 vital ways to energize your daily living, including choice, rest, activity, nutrition, social support, and more.

 
 
 

CHOICES: Life is full of choices. Every day you make countless decisions, all adding up to determine the overall fabric of your life and, to a large extent, your health. In this video we will give you some tips on how to make good choices.

EXERCISE: You already know you should exercise. But do you really understand the benefits of exercise and its impact on your life? In this video we will explain why exercise is crucial for a healthy life.

LIQUID: Next to air, water is the most vital element needed for survival. Every day, intricate processes within your body use water to keep you alive. In fact, humans are about 70 percent water, which clearly shows that water does much more than just quench thirst. In this video we will explain the importance of water for life.

ENVIRONMENT: Life only flourishes in suitable environments, with the appropriate balance of climate, water, soil, and air. In this video we'll explain how environment is crucial for your health and why it’s important to take care of it.

BELIEF: Everyone believes in something. Believing is natural, it happens every day, in plenty of situations, and often goes unnoticed. You might say that the survival of all humans is based on beliefs of some kind. In this video we explain the importance of belief for a healthier life.

REST: All humans need rest and relaxation. Without it, we suffer cognitive impairments. But the chaotic world always has tempting demands and activities that might seem more important than quality rest. Here are some important tips to have a quality rest time.
