Marriages and relationships are never easy to deal with. In our previous weeks, we have been discussing the challenges all relationships face and today we will talk about the challenge of communication. How do you use your words? Our words have power, our words can bring life or take life away. Often time we label our relationships with adjectives that only cause pain and hurt. Renaming our current situation is one way our relationship can improve. God's timeless principle is seeing our relationships the same way He sees our relationship; a work in progress. Scripture: Isaiah 62:4

Hosea was a man of God who followed God and one day God asked him to do something he had never asked anyone else to do - go and marry a prostitute. But, God had a reason for such a radical request. God would use Hosea and his wife, Gomer, as a vivid illustration of what God expects us to be. Often couples are searching for things to complete their relationship but in fact the key to their success is becoming. Become what you want others to want. Hosea demonstrated to his unfaithful wife what love truly looks like. Come and hear a timeless principle found in the story of Hosea and Gomer. Scripture: Hosea 3:1

The Art of War is the oldest recorded book on tactical warfare written by the ancient Chinese Military strategist Sunzi. With that title you would think it's a book about maneuvers and strategy on war. But to the surprise of many, the book is a preventive document about war. One of the main themes is how war should and can be avoided with diplomacy. General Sunzi understood the carnage of war and warfare should always be the last resort. Divorce should be the same way. Divorce should always be the last resort. The Bible is clear that we must try to remain together, come and listen to some practical ways on how to deal with conflict in your marriage and avoid divorce at all cost. Scripture: Judges 16:4

We all come into relationships with a box of hopes, dreams and desires. We all know what we want in our relationships. Maybe we want to have a two-story house with a big backyard, maybe we always dreamed of having 5 kids. What we put in this box is either what we’ve seen in previous relationships or perhaps what we’ve seen growing up. The problem doesn't lie in having a box rather it's how we decide whose box we need to keep. Come and listen as we discuss important principles that will help reinforce the bonds of marriage. Scripture: Genesis 29:18
