What Are You Willing to Lose?

Jonah comes to his final test. He goes and preaches to the Ninevites but the response of the people was not what he wanted. Everyone repents and asks God for forgiveness. Jonah is left with a question, is he willing to lose his pride to accept God's will? Surrender is the theme in this message and it is a word we often avoid. We need to ask what are we willing to lose for God to bless us? We don't know how Jonah's life ends, but we do know what happens when we surrender to God. Scripture: Jonah 4:9-10

In chapter two, Jonah is in the bottom of a fish with no rescue in sight. In the worse of moments we search for God, when we tried every option God is the only one we can turn to. Jonah reminds us that God is always willing to go the extra mile for us. Are we willing to do the same? Are we willing to be gracious to others?
